Sunrise at the Sundial Bridge

The Sacramento River is nature at its finest.  Imagine seeing deer, bald eagles, osprey, otter, egrets, herons, and even turkeys from the peace and quiet of a driftboat floating down the river.

During periods of lower water levels, the runs can be a thriling ride.  You'll go past steep canyon walls harboring hundreds of swallows, and drift around the gentle, riffled bend, toward deep pools of salmon, rainbow trout, water birds, and an otter or two.
